Austin wedding photography

Austin wedding photography

Austin wedding photography from Four Kitchens is in the photojournalism style, which we love because it lets us take photos that will tell the story of your wedding day and will capture you and your guests in real life.

We keep things simple: Your photos are delivered on CDs so that you can print them out at the photo lab of your choice. They're typically ready about one week after your wedding.

The cost of our services depends on the amount of time you'll need us, how far we'll have to travel, how many of our photographers you'd like to be there, and whether you have any special requests (black and white film, Lomo Fisheye film, etc.). For more info, please visit our Pricing page.

Austin wedding photography: Location ideas

Austin wedding photography

Coming up with a location for your engagement shoot, bridal shoot, or even your wedding reception and ceremony isn't easy. There are so many fantastic places to choose from in Austin. Zilker Botanical Gardens, Mayfield Cottage, The Oasis, The Driskill — it all depends on the style you're going for. Here are some ideas to help you on your search for The Perfect Place:

Mayfield Park and Mayfield Cottage

Mayfield Park is an adorable place near the Austin Museum of Art - Laguna Gloria has a beautiful garden with ponds, flowers, and, best of all, peacocks that roam freely around the park. There's a historic cottage (Mayfield Cottage) at the park as well that can be reserved. It's a great place for your guests to relax, and you could even serve food in it. Read more about Mayfield Park from the City of Austin.

Mercury Hall

Mercury Hall is located in South Austin. It's a charming little house with a large room that's perfect for dancing and entertaining guests. Mercury Hall also contains bathrooms, a cute entryway, a kitchen, dining area, and a room for getting ready. There are hardwood floors, stained glass windows, and chandeliers. The grounds are lush and there's a pond; a lot of people set up a large tent outside where they serve drinks and have comfortable seating. Visit Mercury Hall's website for more information.

The Wizard Academy | Chapel Dulcinea

We had the pleasure of photographing a wedding here not too long ago and fell in love with it. Chapel Dulcinea is on the campus of The Wizard Academy, a marketing and advertising school in Southwest Austin. The venue overlooks the Hill Country and is free to use. Visit The Wizard Academy's website to see photos and find out more.

The Oasis

The Oasis is one of the most popular restaurants in Austin. And if you've been, you know why — the Oasis has an incredible outdoor patio overlooking Lake Travis in West Austin. Find out more information about The Oasis by visiting their website.

The "Greetings From Austin" mural on the side of Roadhouse Relics on South 1st Street is a great photo-op. See a picture of it here.
